What is the AMS Student Referral Program?

The ‘AMS Student Referral Program’ lets you help friends and colleagues discover real opportunities in Australia’s meat industry. By sharing the AMS referral program, you open doors for others to learn valuable skills, connect with employers, and build a better future. It’s a simple, positive way to support people around you—and to grow our friendly AMS community together.

Who can join the referral program?

The AMS Referral Program is open to two groups: Individual and Industry Partners. If you know skilled workers who want to train with AMS and work in Australia, you can refer them and help them take the next step in their careers.

1. For individual

To qualify as a referrer, you must:

  • Be a Vietnamese citizen with a valid ID, tax code, and bank account.
  • Not be a current staff member of SanHa or Response Group.
  • Sign a Contract of Commission with SanHa.
  • Refer legitimate candidates (not direct family members).
  • Submit the required documents listed in the AMS Eligibility Guide.
  • Provide video footage of the candidate’s work.

All referrals are subject to verification and approval by SanHa.

2. For industry partners (meat processing companies & employers)

If you manage skilled workers in the meat industry, you can refer candidates. To qualify, your company must:

  • Be a legitimate, Vietnamese government-approved meat processing abattoir.
  • Have a registered business with a valid Business License, tax code, and bank account.
  • Sign an MOU with SanHa before making referrals.
  • Refer only to legitimate workers currently employed at your abattoir.
  • Submit all required forms listed in the AMS Eligibility Guide.
  • Provide video footage of the candidate performing meat processing work.

All industry partner referrals undergo an integrity check and require SanHa’s approval.
