A memorable day for AMS students

On the morning of October 9, 2025, the Australian Meat School (AMS) held its Graduation Ceremony to honor students who have completed their professional meat processing and boning training program. These graduates are now fully prepared to work in Australia under the legal 482 Skilled Visa pathway.

The event was warm, joyful, and filled with pride, attended by representatives from Response Group International (RGI), San Hà Foods, AMS staff, graduates, and their families.

For many, this was not just a graduation day but a life milestone — marking the start of a new, promising career in Australia, where income and growth opportunities are transparent and sustainable.

From classroom to factory: A journey of effort and determination

Every AMS student’s journey begins with hands-on training in professional meat processing, guided by Australian industry standards. They master deboning and meat-cutting skills according to MINTRAC standards, improve their English for workplace communication, and study safety and compliance practices. Each student also completes interviews and documentation for the 482 Skilled Visa, allowing them to work legally and long-term in Australia.

The process is demanding, but their persistence, discipline, and ambition led them to success.

“I’m truly happy. After all the hard work, I finally have my certificate in hand and am ready to go to Australia. I’m proud that I found AMS — a place I could trust with my future.” – Ms Tran Thi Quynh Nhu, a graduate of cohort 7.

Working in Australia: A Path Proven Right

Many AMS graduates are now employed at leading red meat processing plants across Australia, earning AUD 80,000–100,000 per year (approximately 1–1.3 billion VND).

All of them have gone through the 482 Skilled Visa, a legitimate and ethical pathway for Vietnamese workers to build stable careers in Australia.

The Australian Meat School (AMS) was founded by Response Group International (Australia) and San Hà Foods (Vietnam) with the mission of creating a transparent and sustainable labour corridor between Vietnam and Australia in the red meat industry.

Congratulations from program representatives

At the ceremony, Mr. Simon Fraser, Country Director of RGI Vietnam, shared:

“We are very proud to see you graduate today. Every AMS student represents the image of hardworking, skilled, and reliable Vietnamese workers in the eyes of Australian employers.”

Mr. Doãn Giang, representative of San Hà, added:

“AMS doesn’t just train skills — it trains international work ethics. We hope you will bring the pride of Vietnam to every workplace you join in Australia.”

From graduation to a new beginning in Australia

After the ceremony, many graduates will complete the final visa and travel procedures to depart for Australia within the coming weeks. With their AMS certificates, they carry more than technical skills — they carry hope for a stable future, high income, and long-term career opportunities abroad.

AMS continues to support students before departure, during employment in Australia, and even after settlement, ensuring a transparent and supportive journey for every worker.
